Movement • Meditation • Nutrition

My focus working with you is all around recovery, how to improve you life for optimal health and wellness. Movement Through the many different massage modalities that I have been practicing over the years, I can help your body in freeing up some of the tightness, pain or lack of mobility you may have. I also give those who are willing to take a more active roll in their recovery some homework to do. Whether it is focusing on stretching, rolling with a ball, maybe some restorative yoga poses or whether icing, heating or soaking may benefit their bodies with recovery. Some Modalities I have studied

  • Myofascial Release, this is one of my favorite things to do with clients, it is a softer approach, but the work can be extremely profound. Especially if the body wants to unwind. How this works is I hold different points of stagnate areas of the body, the areas with least resistance, pain points, I then listen to the bodies system and feel the way it needs to move to get it to release or unwind. This isn't for everyone because it takes some patience and the client needs to be in a relaxed state. We do this with some breathing and there isn't a whole lot of talking.

  • Deep Tissue • Sports Massage • Thai Yoga on the table, This is probably what I do with the majority of my clients. I have been told my pressure can be somewhat intense but beneficial for them because they feel amazing afterwards and can continue to perform with their gym routines or that they have better mobility.

  • Yoga • Foam Rolling • Trigger work • Stretching These modalities are important for clients to know so they can be more proactive with their recovery. I will take my clients through a thirty or sixty minute routine where they can pick and choose what to add into their daily routines. This is geared towards what will be beneficial to their personal needs.

Meditation Like everything I do with my clients there are many different levels, from the softest to the deepest work that the client needs or is willing at any given time. Meditation can be as simple as breath work or taking it to deeper levels for transformational purposes, releasing old patterns or blockages. I teach clients how to breath when stretching and trigger working their bodies. Nutrition 90% of being healthy is about the foods we eat, when, why and how we do. There is so many emotional components to this and there are so many foods, even some of the ones that are "good" that can cause inflammation in the body, gut issues and hormonal imbalances to name a few. This causes even more stressors on the body, taxing our systems. How I work with my clients with Nutrition is to have them complete an intake form, so I can gather some quick info on where we will begin cleaning up and adding in healthier choices. I then work on figuring out "likes" and what your willing to add in, take out and try. We then track everything from your Food, Mood, Reactions, Responses, Activities, Fluids, and even Poop, I want to know everything so I can help you get to the root causes of the dis-ease in your bodies. Imagine creating a protocol with all this, with your needs, your likes and what will help you sustain a healthier lifestyle. Need help further with cooking, meal prepping or even a week off from cooking then lets talk about ways I can assist you with that. I have appointments in person in Danvers, Ma., the other days I am in Connecticut but can work with my clients via zoom, FaceTime, or phone. I obviously can't massage you this way but I can give you tips on ways to self massage at home.
